| Bio: | I'm an editor at a university. I majored in English in college, so I'm happy I got to work in the field of my choice. I have a house in the city of Philadelphia. I moved here from New York City. I love urban areas. I hate the suburbs. I live with my husband/partner and we have one dog, a Chihuahua, our other baby, a Doberman mix, died in '06. We hope to rescue another big boy soon. I love live music, and seeing bands is the thing I do most for fun. I'm kind of a music geek, but not as much as I think I am sometimes. For those who wonder what my LJ name means, "Anodyne" is an Uncle Tupelo record; the numbers are my zip code.
I've been making most of my posts "friends only" for the past year or so for various reasons. I hate having to do that, but it's the nature of the beast that is the Internet. A few other things...I may be an editor, but I'm a terrible speller, so don't hold it against me. That's why they invented the Dictionary. I also often curse like a sailor, but I'm trying to curb that. I have an extremely juvenile sense of humor and laugh at fart jokes. I often post silly and crude links, so I hope I don't offend. I'm a sort of spiritual person and was raised Catholic, but I'm non-religious and non-judgemental except against fundamentalists of any religion. |
